About Me

I have always, for as long as I remember, been interested in people more than anything else and how we, as humans, are built to grow and reach our full potential. There is nothing I love more than seeing people transform their lives for the better whether this is at home or at their work. My talent is in helping people be more honest with themselves and recognising that this is essential to create the right path and avoid any wild goose chases.

It made sense that I went back to study person centred therapy after starting off my working life in voluntary sector management. From there, I went on to train psychology and youth work students in interpersonal skills at the University of Ulster. I also developed my own practice, working privately as a counsellor as well as for a range of employee assistance programmes throughout the UK and Ireland, providing counselling/coaching/training for corporate clients in various sectors including retail, IT/software and telecommunications.

I became an ILM accredited executive coach in 2018 and continue to work privately as well as for the Ros Taylor Company (where I did my training). My experience ranges from helping SME owners to either grow their business or devise the best exit strategy as well as facilitating senior executives in transitioning to a new career including the area of a non- executive directorship. Other areas of experience include:

· Leadership development

· Facilitating behavioural change

· Health and well -being training

Both counselling and coaching are based on a helping relationship and are definitely worth considering if you feel your life is out of kilter and/or you are not coping. They can help you gain perspective and take control. I am happy to discuss during our initial consultation, which option might be best for you, given your specific needs. In the meantime, please have a look at the FAQ section, to help you decide
